Dominique Carton is a self taught french photojournalist and fine art photographer who came to live in Scotland in 2007. He works and lives in Glasgow.
Dominique is currently working on realizing portraits of Scottish poets and writers as well as artists. He is also involved in digital fine art photography, mostly in black and white in various locations in Scotland.
He has also been photographing weddings in France and Scotland as well as Corporate and PR photography. He realized many portraits of writers for the French publishing industry.
He worked as a freelance photographer for the daily newspaper Le Telegramme de Brest as Paris correspondant in 1985. Then did portraits and event photography for the publishing industry and companies like ICI, Saatchi and Saatchi, Euro RSCG and publishers Pocket, Robert Laffont, Le Fleuve Noir, Nathan.
Dominique has always being passionate about Black and white photographer since he got his first SLR in 1977 and for many years printed himself his work. He began to use digital cameras by 2003 and uses Nikon cameras.
